I've joined this site in January with high hopes thinking it was a site for serious blogs/writing. Not that I haven't enjoyed meeting some of you fine folks but I find that the quality of posts on here, leaves a lot to be desired and its turned into a numbers game. I almost wish they would take away the Top 100, maybe that would weed out the wanna-be's. I'm also not the type of person who is going to monitor photos or anything I have to say because children maybe on here. Well, I blame the parents for that. When you are online, you have the world at your fingertips. It's a blessing and a curse, depending on your view.
I'll leave my posts up for a while as I transition back over to my other spots, but I will be posting new blogs in a day or so, just moving stuff off of here..other there.

I agree with a lot of what you are saying here, and I think the top 100 is a joke, the funniest one out there. Took me a mere 12 hours to crack the top 10, how funny is that? I don't even see myself as the best writer here, far from it for if I was there would no reason to go to college to learn how to write right as mum puts it. The thing about this site and blogger is there are going to be wanna-be's and that is what makes blogging so nice. For in all the crap there are a few good ones to read in the mix. The internet is that last true free speech we have and that means anyone can write anything and it is OK. I like to think about that in regards to other bloggers. Love me or hate me the choice is up to that person and it has no affect on me what-so-ever.

I'm sorry to see you go too, and sorry you felt that way about the top 100...everyone I have ever talked with on here sees it as a joke and nothing more. also everyone I have ever talked to on here enjoys the excellent blogging posts done by the writers here, like yourself.

Sorry to see you go but I can understand your feelings. Wish the beta stage would be over here soon, it is frustrating without some important blogging tools.
